Hands-On: Optic Portable Laser Cutter!
We go hands-on with a new laser cutter and engraver with a unique fold-up design. The Rendyr Optic is a diode laser cutter that can collapse into a compact formfactor ideal for small workshops, complete with built-in smoke filtration. Jen and Norm run the Optic through its paces and discuss the benefits and tradeoffs of this portable design. Note: we tested the Optic pototype and recorded this video back in the summer of 2021. Please check Optic’s website for the latest information about its features and rated performance.
