Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine Review!

We test and review the new Bantam Tools Desktop CNC, a powerful three-axis milling machine for precision carving of aluminum, wood, and other hard materials. Jen walks us through her experience using the CNC as a stepping stone from 3D printing and laser cutting, navigating the CAM workflow with Bantam Tools’ user-friendly software. Here’s how this machine can fit into maker spaces and home workshops to level up a maker’s digital fabrication skillset.

  1. Jen, I was interested in what you thought the value to price for the CNC Milling Machine is? It might be a hard value statement to make as there aren’t many (any, especially if Inventables Carvey is EOL) comparables, but would you spend your money on this one? It’s definitely not an impulse buy 🙂

  2. I like this result. Milling centers like cncnow are able to perform complex multi-operation processing of various materials with a high degree of automation of production processes.
