3D-Printed VR Blaster Grip and Adventure Lab Escape Room!

We review two VR games that attempt to bring location-based experiences into the home. First is Adventure Lab, a unique cooperative multiplayer game that’s part escape room and part immersive theater, played with a live performer hosting every session. We also test Tower Tag, a VR arcade game with a free 3D print file to turn the Oculus Touch controllers into the exact sci-fi blaster you see in headset!

  1. VR Immersive Theater… right out of Neal Stephenson’s _Diamond Age_! I’d love to see a self-hosting/running version of this – cross it with a slightly choosy version of Mechanical Turk.

Also: how would you compare Tower Tag to Echo Arena/Echo VR? I’d love to have Tower Tag on the Quest…

  2. i’d love to see tower tag on quest too, especially with the freedom of movement in tetherless vr. definitely not as ambitious as echo arena for locomotion, but the shootouts were very fun and teamwork did pay off in the 4v4 matches i played with the devs.

  3. Can I simply say what a reduction to seek out someone who really is aware of what theyre talking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know the best way to convey a problem to light and make it important. Extra folks need to read this and perceive this side of the story. I cant consider youre no more widespread because you undoubtedly have the gift.
