hey, the primary mod we do is replacing the head strap with the HTC vive deluxe audio strap: https://www.vive.com/us/vive-deluxe-audio-strap/
it’s super simple to do, and not permanent if you want to go back to the original. this is a good video explaning how to do it, though 3d-printed brackets are optional (that’s where i used zip ties): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPsFPOYyR5Q
