How to Shoot a Zombie Volunteer in the Face Safely

Which weapon is better during a zombie apocalypse: a shotgun or an ax? When the MythBusters took this scenario on, the question then became: How do you shoot a zombie volunteer in the face safely? Well, after Jamie had left for the day, HERE’S the solution Adam came up with.

  1. Hi Adam, (Copied and pasted this from the YouTube video)
I was one of the zombie volunteers at Mare Island AND the Zombie-Grocery-Store’ setup shot in the hilariously stocked fake store at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. After the Mare Island shoot, I packed my face covering in a box and it’s remained in a cool dark place ever since. I’d be more than happy to donate it to the Grant Imahara STEAM Foundation. It’s not doing any one any good in a box, so, if someone could please contact me regarding logistics on how to get it to you, I’m sure it would help out. (I’m @creative_loon on Instagram). One more thing, Adam – I organized a mile long Zombie-Shamble from a rally point on 40th street in Emeryville to a grocery store a half a mile away to shop for food for the hungry. Side note: ‘Shambling’ for a mile ticked off about three miles of steps on our pedometers – (we did the George Romero slow zombie style). Each zombie was instructed to pick up two items, (one for each hand), stay in character in the store, and shamble back to pack the food. The only people in the store to acknowledge us were CHILDREN and they loved it! Parents…meh, they ignored us, go figure. On our way back, there was a woman in the middle of an intersection island with a cardboard sign that read “hungry, need to feed my kids”. God love the volunteer zombies, each of them dropped an item at her feet as they shambled on, all the while remaining in character. When I reached her, I saw the box of LIFE cereal and almost broke character….irony, much? LIFE from a DEAD person….classic. (Anyone volunteers reading this who participated in that, my thanks STILL go out to you and I ask that you please comment in support, here, by offering your mask if you still have it). Much love from the grave, – Lewis Nowosad 🙂
