Tested Visits Prop Store’s Original Movie Prop Collection

We’ve seen beautiful pieces of original movie props, costumes, and production materials at conventions like Comic-Con and Star Wars Celebration, but we finally get to visit Prop Store’s LA warehouse where it stores much of its collection. Brandon Alinger gives us a tour and tells us the story of several of his favorite pieces, including the Nostromo model, a Batmobile, and Back to the Future II shoes. Place a comment below with your favorite item from the upcoming live auction for a chance to win one of five auction catalogs!

  1. Wow that was incredible! I must say the batmobile cockpit was the coolest thing but i really dig the letter to Doc Brown as well!

  2. As always, these peeks into the Prop Store’s warehouse/collections are fantastic! Thanks guys! As for what item from the auction catalog I’d love to have – Item 374 The Imperial Stormtrooper Blaster.

  3. …or maybe that sword from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade… Or Conner’s sword from Highlander… OH SWEET JEEBUS! HERO ROCKETEER HELMET!…

  4. I’m looking forward to a new video where Adam unveils his Jason Bourne deposit box hero pistol (item 71).

I’d love the ZF-1 gun. Or the Elven sword (255).

There’s too much to choose from.

But, what jumped out at me most – the Millennium Falcon blueprint. That is beautiful.

  5. I think the Hero ZF-1 from the Fifth Element is one of the coolest things they have on there. They also have a Hero Velociraptor Claw from Jurassic Park, which is insane too. And of course the Hero Stormtrooper Blaster is something that I would love to have.

  6. So wonderful to see the Nostromo model. Sadly,so many wonderful models have been lost over the decades due to apathy. Keep up the good work, guys.

  7. Anything from terminator one, those hand drawn story boards, damn, anything like that just blows my mind.

  8. So many things, the Nostromo gun, Blade sword, Bladerunner Vid-Fon

The one I would choose is Milla Jovovich Multi Pass, it’s my favorite scene from the movie.

  9. STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI (1983) – Death Star Gun Tower Model Miniature!!!! My favorite movies of all time! Would love to own a piece of the Death Star! (cue Imperial March)

  10. I got the pleasure of visiting their LA office back in 2013 and it was an amazing experience! I wasn’t allowed to take a lot of photos but its nice to see some of the stuff is still there.

  11. For me it’s most likely the clapper board from Alien!

Nice piece of movie history, that’s actually pretty decorative, could fit into a livingroom or office in a classy way

  12. Thought I saw a Doctor Who-prop behind those guys at around 5:18 or so, the faun-like alien from “The God Complex” – sadly, no, though.

  13. Lots of nice items. Really liked the Daleks in the catalog, until I saw the complete Samurai Costume for Katsumoto from the Last Samurai. Having that would be really nice, but would have to build a custom display case to keep the cats away from it.

  14. i might be in London that week. I’d like to go and bid on the syd mead drawings. estimate is quite high though..

  15. Great collection! As a fellow Californian though I am cringing and squirming in my seat as I see all those open shelves, with no foam padding, no netting to hold things in and thinking about anything higher than a 3.0 on the richter scale. Man I can see all that stuff just crashing to the floor and falling over and think what a waste it would all be. Buy some cheap easy to hang netting panels for those shelves please!! For my peace of mind 🙂
