Tested Visits The Hand Prop Room

On our way down to Comic-Con, we stopped by a prop rental house in Los Angeles that supplies historical, modern, and science fiction hand props to TV and movie productions. The Hand Prop Room is a treasure trove of found and created objects that evoke the imagery of almost every historical era. And just wait until you see their faux-firearm armory.

  1. Anyone who’s had a chance to go through a Hollywood prop or rental house will tell you how amazing and sometime overwhelming those places can be! Great post, guys- brought back some memories!

  2. This is already one of my favorite on-location videos on the site. I love it when enthusiastic curators/presenters work with Tested and really allow them a ton of access with a really nice person all along the way that knows their stuff. Hit the jackpot with this one duders. Up there with Paper Airplane Guy and the Intrepid Museum visit.

  3. I would love to take a few hours to explore around in there. I’m betting a few hours wouldn’t be nearly enough. Chances are I’d spend those hours on a single shelf. 😀

    I sympathize with many guys

    who suffer cold dismay.

It’s my belief they’d find relief

    the alka-seltzer way.

    Ha!

  4. Wow, this place is fascinating. If I ever make it to LA I have to visit this place. Also, Joey and the whole team are killing it. Every week the site gets better.

  5. Awesome, I so wish the video was longer. I think this video has even trumped my laziness and forces me to go to Youtube and Like this video. It’s that rare one, where the Interviewer is on the ball, the Interviewee has personality, and the subject is interesting. Tested has to go back!
