PREMIUM – Model Behavior: Kaneda’s Motorcycle from Akira!

Model Behavior is back! This week’s garage kit is a 3D printed model of Kaneda’s iconic motorcycle from Akira. It was designed by Juri Pranjic (aka 3Dworkbench) and is super fun to put together! We hope that this inspires more people to support 3D artists who offer beautiful 3D models for printing at home.

  1. Bandai/B-Club put out a semi-official kit around 89 that I somehow managed to get ahold of at the time and their windshield was a complete disaster so anything is an improvement over that. I am surprised that the urethane casting came out *that* cloudy, though.

  2. Love and support both of these fantastic channels! Fun and very presentable build!

Thanks, – Adam, Norm, Bill, Britt – and your teams and supporters!!

  3. Very cool! Nice build!
Now to the stickers and weathering!

Unrelated, I like how your shirts write “Tested maker” 😀

  4. I would love to see an instructional video on how Bill cast the windshield. Please, pretty please, do this!

  5. Nice video! Thanks for sharing the build assembly! Would LOVE a longer/multi-part series on a 3D Printed space ship (Rocinante???) or similar build!! 😉👍 love the long format videos that walk us through your order of operations AND show us some of your “crimes!”

  6. Thank you So Much for bringing back the premium content! This is a great build, really enjoyed it!
