PREMIUM – Ask Adam: Keeping Builds Clean (Despite Dirty Hands)

In this Ask Adam, Adam Savage responds to akaPixelpeter’s comment, “You do a lot of (spray)painting and such but always seem to keep your builds clean even though you do get your hands/fingers dirty; I would get fingerprints all over my build for sure.”

  1. If only I could watch this, but as my subscription has passed and there is now no way to renew, purchase a new subscription or continue I now cannot see any Premium content. Come on guys, I literally want to give you my money to watch stuff!

  2. Same here. Long time subscriber, but my subscription has recently expired, and there’s no way to renew it.

    / please do something!

  3. I just joined tested but for the life of me can’t figure out how to subscribe to the premium content. Please help me give you my money.

  4. Man! Iritating problem coming up. How do you light up a tiny hole to see whats inside without obstructing wives with the lighthouse itself. Got something stuck in my 3,5mm jack on the phone but cant find a way to see whats going on. Have seen desk lights with a circular “led kind of thing” with a magnifier you can look through, but i don´t have that at hand. So how?

  5. Star Trek had many different ensignias for each ship in Star Fleet. The members of the crew each wore thier ship’s ensignia on the front of the uniform. But in the new movies and all following series they had seemed to forget that aspect of the show….I liked the fact each ship was different. Now the entire fleet seems to be Enterprise crew members.
My question to you is have you ever discovered a potential error and caught it before it hit the big screen. Like when working on Star Wars and preventing them from putting cup holders on R2D2 or something??

  6. So glad I finally could become a memebet of the Tested community and I can finally get to ask my Mythbusters related question to you Adam! My question is that we’re their certain myths that either the higher ups or someone wouldn’t let y’all do because of the danger or money that would be wasted or used or it was so dangerous, as on the main one in dying too know why you didn’t test which is that a coin could de-rail a train since people used to do it all the time . I could see you purposely de-railing the train if the results were anti-climactic like y’all have done before and maybe they didn’t want to deal with all the damage that would surely ensue, Thank you and look forward to the possible answer !
