Why not just hold alphie next time – not like anyone watching is going to mind you holding a dog, and it may solve the production team the headache 😛
Please record my vote toward a One Day Build rebuild of that truly magnificent prop!
Hi Adam! I have been following your journey since the beginning of Mythbusters. You seem to have worked with every kind of maker there is- vast ranges of age, experience, skill sets and interests. But you seem to have had a special experience when you worked with the incredible kids on Mythbusters Jr. They seemed to spark your enthusiasm in a whole new way. That’s my long way of asking: which do you prefer and why? Working with adults or kids? I am sure there are advantages and disadvantages aplenty for both situations. #AskAdamSavage
In the immortal words of the Hyneman, “we’re just going to blow it up, but do a good job anyway.”
You guys put a great deal of effort into everything, esp. the things that got blown up. Like the little water heater house!
“Question for Adam”
Having fun in the shop and building cool things all day, how do you clean your hands to remove stuff like spray paint, contact cement … Using acetone and other solvents, doesn’t work well all the time.
Best, Timotej
