Tested Builds: Quadcopter Drone, Part 3

It’s day three of the quadcopter build already, but for some reason it still feels like day two. Still, much progress is made and some things are done better the second time around. 1. The “washers” in the 2 large plates that Norm is referring to at the beginning are often called either “clinch nuts” or “PEM nuts” (Penn Manufacturing is the leading manufacturer of specialty fasteners for thin sheet metal components).

  2. Something that may be handy for you guys if you do more of these is get a couple muffin tins or mini muffin tins to organize your hardware, works great and keeps everything on the bench.

Also, please do more of these! They have been great to watch.

  3. Nerf gun attachment please! Or maybe you could make a flying dress like Lady Gaga. Norm’s lighter.

  4. Perhaps could 3D Print a tray to organize all of the various fasteners for these build projects..

  5. Saw the spacer part shoot off the table just past Will’s left elbow at 26:14 or so. Sounded like it hit the wood floor. No sound of a second impact from a bounce, so only roll. Good luck finding it.
