Got my Valve Index setup. My only hitch was I have my VR area in a different room than my office. For the Vive I got a USB repeater and a long HDMI cable and it worked well. To do the same for the Index I needed a long Active DisplayPort cable with a male and female end (I planned ahead but got a male/male cable).
From a Reddit thread suggestion I reversed everything. I moved my computer to my living room and used my repeater and long DP cable to reach my office. Not ideal but it works for now.
I am enjoying that higher resolution. Still looking for something that highlights the controllers. I keep forgetting they are not Vive wands when gripping. Hand labs is fine but the interactions seemed to lock in if I was close enough.
