Yup Adam is here in Melbourne Australia, just saw his wonderful show tonight. It was fun show and was awesome to meet Adam.
The water creature in Shape of Water sure reminds me of Abraham from Hellboy. I know it is the same director and I fully admit I have not seen the movie but the images in the trailer pull me in that direction.
On the Amazon store tech, people don’t realize just how many jobs really only exist because there are tax incentives to create jobs. Automat technology has been around for over a century and electronics have only made it easier. I work one of the highest paying unskilled jobs in my area and I know that the technology to replace me has existed for decades, it’s just that the company I work for gets tax incentives to employ me on top of any value I might be contributing for the cost of employing me. This is why we need to stop giving people the idea that they should be able to support themselves at entry level jobs that could disappear overnight.

Every week or so, find a couple more products to add, make and submit new ad. Only thing remotely new here is that it has become slightly easier to do, you don’t need to hire even temporary people for setup any more, but really, this is a mainstream way of running a business, hell Shopify has tutorials on how to rig their ecommerce solution so goods ship directly from wholesalers 🙂
If you think that there is no reason for a Duke Nukem movie, is there any current video game you guys would rather see being made into a movie?
mass effect
I think is the year I finally try community supported agriculture where I buy direct from a local farm. I think I’m done with the amazonization of everything.
R.e. the GPU market.. I have heard rumblings that GPUs are being used in a.i., and machine learning, which has become much easier to use, and buzzy in business world.
The Witcher
To be fair, for the Netflix series in development right now they’ve gone to the books for source material. But as far as movies based on video game related franchises go, I’m pretty stoked in a “I really hope this doesn’t suck” kinda way.
