  1. Oh Norm I have so much more faith in you. “Today’s Episode WAS brought to you by”. I hate to be that person but I never expected this from you. Awww, we all have our days. 🙁

  2. Hey Norm, Felicity Jones’ gloves in Rogue One don’t even remotely resemble Boba’s gloves.

You are probably referring to the circular military patches sewn on them, which are not part of the movie used Boba Costumes. They are seen on a promo costume used for some events, but they don’t show up in the films.

  3. Btw bi-annual is evey two years and semi annual is twice a year. think if you get paid bi-weekly you get paid every two weeks. – To Sorry guys jumped the gun. Thanks google :D.

  4. You’re completely right, I was waiting for someone to say that. Clearly no one watches Archer. Semi-annual and biannual are the same thing.

  5. I don’t really know much about routers, but I’ve really enjoyed testing out beginner level networking and home automation stuff with two Almond 2015 routers and a handful or sensors.

  6. As a Note 4 owner, I will not be “upgrading” to the Note 5. Aside from a slightly better camera, built-in wireless charging and a push to eject stylus, the Note 5 really doesn’t seem like much of an upgrade for me.

The Note 5 has the same screen as my Note 4, no sd card, no removable battery, smaller battery to power a faster cpu (even though my Note 4 is fast enough for everything I do).

  7. Regarding the OnHub’s lack of microphone… I wonder if they’ve constructed it such that the speaker can be used to pick up sound.

  8. Amazon has like 130k employees, so the 100 is even easier to get than with a 25k person company. Not to say that I doubt the stories, but I agree that it is a massive machine and it is possible for a large number of people and entities within Amazon to have a terrible experience that is not necessarily representative of the average.

  9. Glad to hear I’m not the only one managing a Rocket League addiction! I keep it to 3 games a session to avoid falling into the abyss of acrobatic car bliss.

  10. I don’t know where to go with this but I’m kind of disappointed that we didn’t “hear it here first” that Jamie and Adam are going to be producing a new TV show. I hope we get an inside scoop soon!

  11. I’ve worked for the family farm for short stints but most of my employ over the last almost 20 years has been to large corporations at a near ground level. RE: Corporate culture and the awareness of upper management. Once a corporation reaches a certain size it ceases it’s declared function and becomes a bureaucracy. Bureaucracies are seldom good at the things they were set up to do, this is because they become much like feudal “states” with each little fiefdom trying to protect itself. Bureaucracies are very good at continuing, their constituent parts will do their best to protect themselves.

What does this mean for corporate culture? At the top end I can only suspect that it resembles feudal coup attempts but at the front lines it means that you are continually given different objective lines and if the goal posts don’t keep moving further and further away if you meat them, they’ll quite quickly make right turns as power shifts at the top end.

You guys are lucky to be outside the neo-feudalism that rules the day here and work at a job with pleasant work/life policies. I’ve been trying to take my Comps to finish my master’s degree for a year or so, and gave up trying to do a thesis because I couldn’t get enough time. C’est la vie. Be grateful for your positions, at least I’m not at Konami and I like my co-workers.
