Tested Turns 10! – Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project – 3/10/20

For this very special anniversary episode, we’re joined by producer Joey to talk about the past 10 years of Tested! From our very first days covering technology, to teaming up with Adam, and the adventures we’ve been on since. It’s been a long road, and thanks for coming along with us!

  1. Somehow I only found this place last year. I’ve watched dozens of videos since then and every one day build in particular. It’s great to see the development of style over that time.

Listening to this conversation too I’m really pleased to discover that the reason you all make these videos is exactly the same reason I watch them. Other people’s obsessions really are infectious, even if they’re not exactly the things I want to do myself.

I was also going to suggest some videos about making videos but it sounds like Adam already thought of that. I’m sure there are a lot of people out there that would like to make videos about the stuff they do but haven’t a clue where to start.

Great job everyone. Keep doing what you do, I’ll certainly be sticking around to see what comes next.

  2. I can’t wait to see were Tested goes in the future. Thank you so much for everything you guys have done and continue to do. Would love to hear more from Joey about the processes behind the scenes.

  3. Nice Job and congratulations on a decade. I got into Tested a few years ago and it continues to bring joy.I look forward to this podcast weekly. Every single one of you is outstanding in your own right.

The One Day Builds are brilliant. All the fascination and monotony of watching a craftsman doing his thing paired with a narrative that drives it all home for the viewer. What could possibly go wrong?

You guys have put together a significant body of work you should feel proud of over here. Well done and keep it up!

  4. I remember noticing early on that Norm finished every interview with a handshake.

I also remember that Frank Ippolito was a big source of content for a long time

  5. Such a lovely podcast. A real treat for a long time fan of Tested.com. You guys inspired me to keep track of my obsessions on a website of my own (hoppend.nl) and I use my metal leatherman wave holster on every build job! Keep up the good work. I cant wait to see were you take us the coming 10 years.

Tip: maybe visit makers in Europe. Some collaborations with Laura Kampf combined with other makers in Europe (Colin Furze, James Bruton, Look mom no Computer, The Practical Engineer) maybe… just a thought!

Keep up the good work and continue working on this love letter to making! “Groetjes” from Holland
