  1. To me Comic-Con is like Burning Man. I think everyone should experience it at least once. It is a ton of fun. You are never going to be able to do everything there while attending. It will NEVER be how it was in the past because it is evolving with new people and new things to do. If you are stuck in the past and afraid of change maybe it is time for you to take a break from the event and open your ticket slot up to a newer generation that wants to attend.

  2. Baby Driver has to be the best movie I have seen in the theater in forever. The cinematography is stunning. The cast is on point. The movie follows the plot. The ending is believable. There are things placed in the back ground of shots that tie in with the film. The the second opening scene is so so beautiful between the music in the background and what is happening in the scene. Go watch Baby Driver.

  3. I saw the Laika Experience when it was at Universal Studios last year, and it was awesome! My only complaint was that I wasn’t allowed to spend more time there! It was shown by guided tour only, so it was at the tour’s pace, not my own pace. (I understand this was probably necessary, though, to keep the line moving.)

  4. I did not like Okja. I don’t agree with its sentiment, and though the first half is really sweet, after a horribly staged infodump of exposition it takes a turn that I didn’t like and I immediately got bored. It has gotten great reviews, and I do not agree with any of those. There are only a few mostly negative reviews, but I am with them and all their points.

  5. Comic Con– PHAW! You want hot ‘n’ sticky you want Dragon Con! Atlanta on labor day weekend! (;

  6. Good video and focus on this one. Lots of depth. I would recommend you kill the room lighting and retain the cabinet lighting and hit the subjects with some warmer panel lights. The subjects will pop and the cabinets in the background will provide nice ambience.

  7. Norm, I think it was in this episode you were mentioning an interest in building a watch movement kit. I do not have any information on a kit exactly, but there is a guy out there who has designed a scaled up watch movment that can be 3D printed. I believe he has released all the parts as 3D models, so in theory you can download the part files and print out everything you need to assemble one. See his YouTube video, with more information and links, here: https://youtu.be/Go8woPGOggg

    Would be an interesting video to see you guys go through the process of printing the parts out and assembling the thing.
