Tippett Studio Tour: Starship Troopers, Jurassic Park, and Robocop

Legendary special effects animator Phil Tippett gives Will and Norm a tour of his studio, sharing behind-the-scenes stories of a few iconic props and creatures from Starship Troopers, Jurassic Park, and Robocop. Plus, Norm fulfills a lifelong dream for only $5.

  1. Tippett’s facial expression when Norm holds the Academy Award gives me douche-chills. So uninterested. That must have been a hard interview.

    I got the same feeling. Norm being so enthusiastic just contrasted it so much more. Probably just didn’t like some dude touching his awards that are probably polished 800 times a day. That or he was just wasn’t too comfortable on camera at first, he seems better later on.

    Fascinating stuff though. Very well produced video!

    I got this game vibe… Just watching the video made ma bit uncomfortable. Way to push through norm.. lol Nice job.
