Another great example of how far cardboard can take you is project binky at bad obsession motorsports. Basically an entire car designed by first making templates out of cardboard, a process they like to call CAD (cardboard aided design).

How do you clean your costumes after a Con?
Costumes are rarely machine washable, but after sweating in them for hours it would be nice to freshen them up
