Hello all Makers with a 3D printer.
I'm passing on a request for 3D printed face shields and face masks. The city of Cupertino is collecting any available personal protection equipment, including 3D printed face masks and face shields. If you're not in SF bay area, please contact your local hospitals! Any help is appreciated!
There are open source plans for 3D printed face masks here
"You use a slicer, which takes the product that you got off Thingiverse and it turns it into code that the 3D printer can read"
To help make face shields on 3D printer, please contact hackerlab.org. They are also collected 3D printing materials as well.
I'm not a maker, but I'm hoping to pass on this info to folks who can help!
