  • Hey Folks!

maybe this has been tried before maybe it hasnt, but I tried out a new idea this week to use 3D printing to construct the mold wall to minimise silicone waste and also add markings to the silicone mold so you can see how much resin you need in the mold (as every time I write in sharpie on a mold it inevitably rubs off eventually!!

  • Awesome video
  • Hello, the action or process of making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, typically by laying down many thin layers of a material in succession. "if you use 3D printing for prototypes you will simply be able to go to market faster",

  • Clever use of Solidworks to calculate the volume for the mold. Therefore reducing waste when making up the silicone and help save money. All clever use of existing technology in new ways.
