As If I needed another project, I'm working on the EDC One. On my last trip to Baltimore, my son gifted me with his outdated uniforms. So I thought I'd try recycling them. On the first day I managed to get about 90% of the bag finished. As you can see, I had some four-footed help.
Slight delay in the project as I had to special order the zipper-no convenient local source. So put together the shoulder strap. The pad was the first thing I stitched as a test, and as you can see, I re-did it. The second version is stiffened with some heavy fusible interfacing.
And it's done.
I have received my plans and now all my parts are cut out. I am new to sewing and was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of needle and thread best fit the material sent out in the kit.
Will post pictures when it looks like something more than a pile of fabric.
