  •   Crazy stuff. Supposedly it makes polygons obsolete and is all done within software (hard to comprehend it not having some toll on your hardware).  These recordings/images were rendered on an "
    ordinary laptop, using only one core, No special 3D graphics hardware is being used..."  They aren't really talking about how it's done, trade secrets I suppose.

  • I think it looks really interesting, although like you said its a bit hard to comprehend know its to only do this with software.
  • Alright the fact that I have no idea what I watched either means it worked or the tech they showcased is completely unpractical.
  • Oh wow, I was thinking "wtf this cannot work" at the beginning but after he explained it all it made sense. The thing is though he only talked about polygons/points. There was no mention of lighting or anything like that. It will be very interesting to see how this develops though.
