Camera Cases

  • Yo, just wondering if anyone knew a good site to buy camera cases/accessories. I just bought a new Panasonic Lumix dmc-lx3 and wanted a  case and possibly a new lens cap. If anyone knows of a could site/place to get them it'd be appreciated, thanks!
  • What kind of camera bag are you looking for, how much of your kit do you want to be carrying around with you? Are you looking for something just for a couple lenses and a body, or something to carry a lot more gear with you?
  • Looks like I might not have been specific enough. It's a real small camera :P I just wanted a simple little case that would protect it well if I dropped it etc. I can't really find anything I like on the net so I thought one of the users here might know of a decent brand or website I can get one from.
If you need more of an idea what I'm looking for, just look up the model of the camera, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3.
  • Oh sorry, for some reason I totally missed the camera model in your first post, my bad :P.

I know of this one if you're looking for something pretty small  http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=28873&cat=3540
I've seen sling type cases as well, if you want something a bit more substantial to carry around.
There's some generic P&S cases that may work as well, but it's nice to be able to try those out to make sure they fit snugly enough.
  • Just go on your local tech stores. im sure you can get one there.
  • @TheLepper: Turns out most of my local tech stores suck ass, haha.

@Addfwyn: Thanks dude, I'll give it a look.
  • If you don't mind going the online route, Crumpler has some nice small camera bags.

  • I highly recommend Tamrac. I recently purchased a Canon PowerShot G11 and got the Model 5692 for it. Best camera case I've ever owned. Tamrac makes LowePro, CaseLogic, and other big box retailer offerings look like weak sauce.

Tamrac's are water resistant, heavily padded, offer heavy duty materials, and have a 5-year warranty. For your camera, you'd probably want to look at the Tamrac Model 5691 or 3585. See below for links, or click on the following for a sizing chart:  http://tamrac.com/digitalcamerafitchart.cfm
