To quote the first paragraph of the project, "This project centers around the CAMERADACTYL Brancopan. It's a 3D printed panoramic camera that takes 35mm film and mamiya press lenses. It's super durable and takes great pictures, and you could print it at home for about $40 worth of materials on a sub $200 3d printer."
Obviously, some assembly required. The plans are complete, he's made many. The Kickstarter is funded, he's made the $12,000 goal and will release YouTube videos detailing how to build them. If he makes $100,000 - which he admits seems unlikely - he's going to release plans to 3D print a 4x5 field camera!
Though I don't expect I'll ever make one, I happily gave $10 to him. But if I ever get a 3D printer or access to one, who knows!
