Adam Savage's 2019 New York Comic Con Schedule

By Kristen Lomasney

New York Comic Con passes are sold out, but you still have a chance to see Adam Savage (in a small venue, at that) if you're in NYC next week.

It's our FOURTH New York Comic Con, and our last con of 2019! This year, Adam is only around two days: Friday and Saturday. If you can't make it, there will be plenty of video on Tested.com, of course. And for those of you who CAN join us, there are still some tickets available for his Friday appearance at Anime Fest.

Adam Incognito (Friday)

Stay tuned to Twitter (@donttrythis), because we'll Tweet when Adam is hitting the floor in his Incognito costume! YOU GUYS WILL FREAK OUT WHEN YOU SEE THIS ONE. (We think.)

My Neighbor, Adam Savage: An Evening with the Maker and Miyazaki Enthusiast (Friday at 4:30 pm, Hudson Mercantile, 500 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018)

This is a SUPER SMALL event -- we can't remember the last time Adam appeared in a venue that held only 300 people. Anyway, at this Anime Fest appearance, Adam will talk about his creative career, cosplay hobby, and anime influences and then take questions (and with only 300 people in the audience, your chances of asking him a question are better than ever).

This program includes a one hour discussion and Q&A, followed by a meet and greet for premium ticket holders. All tickets include an exclusive pre-signed poster of Adam in one of his (and probably your) favorite costumes.

You do not need a convention pass to go to this event. Buy tickets here. (Save up to $10 by buying your ticket before Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 11:59 p.m. ET.)

SYFY WIRE Hosts the Great Debate (Friday at 7 pm, Hammerstein Ballroom, 311 W 34th St, New York, NY 10001)

Who is cooler, Wolverine or Han Solo? Were The Smurfs delightful, or kinda terrifying? Would you rather have a Green Lantern ring or a Wizard Wand? Some of the GREATEST questions in geekdom will be settled in the return of SYFY Wire's The Great Debate that pits proud celebrity nerds against each other for hilariously epic debates. We give you a paddle, YOU vote on the winners, so judge wisely and remember...with great paddle comes great responsibility! (Plus it works as a pretty sweet fan for when things heat up.) And bring your own hot topics to present to the panel, so they can fight 'em out. Let's settle this inside!

A portion of the seats at The Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center will be filled via the pre-show lottery. For more details visit: NYCC19.com/lottery.
