The 3D effect was so lifelike, we could almost smell it. Plus, augmented reality!

lol
I do have a.. bit of a :/ with the 3DS closed and the way it looked idk :| but still freaking awesome!
But yes, very excited about the 3DS. I sold my DS Lite in anticipation of the DSi XL, but now I am waiting for the 3DS instead. I will have a great backlog of games to play along with all of the new ones!
no more eye pain!
I love this quote.
Thanks for doing this guys! So for me the big questions are:
1. Was it more going "into" the screen than going out? You mentioned on Nintendogs that only the head seemed to pop out, and on Mario Cart only the sparks came out, what about the enhanced reality ones? I ask because I prefer the idea of 3D INTO the device versus out of it.
2. Did it hurt your eyes?
3. As a non-DS owner is this a launch pick-up or a "Wait to see what games are coming" before buying it?
4. "Slide Pad" or the Analog however you want to say it. Did it feel good? The Giant Bomb guys seemed to like it.
5. 2D mode, did that seem clear? I.e. does the 3D technolgy when turned down to 2D still seem to be "there" or is it completely gone and off? I ask because my buddy is one of the Cyclopses we mentioned before E3.
Thanks in advance!
