Chrome OS Consumer Launch Delayed to Early 2011

Even if the full launch of Chrome has been delayed into 2011, Google still has plans for December.

Bad news for everyone hoping to buy a Chrome-equipped netbook from Acer or HP this year: the consumer launch of Google’s second OS has been delayed into the mists of 2011. But all is not lost just yet. According to Acer, there’s still some Chrome goodness from Google landing before the end of the year. While the full-scale launch of the operating system may be delayed until early next year, rumor has it Google has something in store for its OS in December.
