Time-Lapse Composite of Five Hours of Plane LandingsBy Norman Chan Film professor Cy Kuckenbaker shot this time-lapse composite of all the planes landing at San Diego International Airport in a five hour period. As he explains to Petapixel, the video was created by using the sky as a blue screen, which allowed him to key out just the planes and combine them in one shot. The bridge in the foreground and clouds in the background are actually just static images animated in Adobe Premiere.
