We're splitting forces to cover two big events this weekend. Norm, Joey, Jamie, and Adam are at Dragon*Con and I'm about to hop a plane for PAX Prime in Seattle. As always, if you see us at either of these events, say hi!
At Dragon*Con, Adam will be on a panel with the Bad Astronomer, Phil Plait on Friday at 2:30 PM. It's titled But I Play One on TV and is in the Marriott Atrium Ballroom. Then everyone will be at the Atlanta Behind the Myths Tour stop at 8PM on Friday. I'm pretty sure there are still tickets available, if you want to check it out.
On Saturday at Dragon*Con, you should check out Jamie and Adam's panel, M5: Blowing Stuff Up for Science. It's in the Marriott Atrium Ballroom at 5:30. Later that night, Adam will be performing with Adam, Paul & Storm, Jonathan Coulton, and more starting at 8:00 sharp.
On the PAX front, Friday night at 8PM, I'll be playing Jeopardy in Kraken and I'm also planning to stop by the Cards Against Humanity panel on Sunday night at 9:30, also in Kraken. At 8:00 on Saturday, I'm going to attend the Giant Bomb panel (say Hi afterwards), which is in Pegasus. I also want to see Three Old Guys Play Zork, because it sounds really silly.
I'm also going to find someplace to set up office hours and play board games early on Friday and Saturday afternoons, so keep an eye on Twitter to find out when and where. I'll likely keep my copy of The Resistance on me at all times, so if you round up four or five people and want to play, shout on Twitter. I've found that it's a wonderful game to play over beers or coffee. Other than that, I'll be checking out Indie Showcase games, street passing, talking to people who have built cool stuff, and just having a good time.
Say hi if you see us and hope you guys have a great Labor Day weekend (or just the last weekend of August, if you're not in the US).
