Cheetahs Running at Full Speed, Filmed at 1200FPSBy Norman Chan For the November issue of National Geographic, the magazine filmed incredible slow motion video of cheetahs from the Cincinnati Zoo running at full speed. To accomplish this, the crew built a 410 foot dolly track and mounted a Phantom high-speed camera on it, along with several Canon 1D DSLRs for high-speed photography. The resulting footage is the first time cheetahs have been filmed at high-speed along a track and not from a fixed position. Here's the behind-the-scenes video of how National Geographic shot this footage.
