what is the target audience for this, windows mobile before was for business people but this looks like its for a different age  group?
TimBrouunon Sept. 8, 2010 at 1:35 a.m.
Hey Norm, I'm not sure about something, maybe you can clear this up...but is that the final hardware? :)
jvpdeon Sept. 8, 2010 at 1:46 a.m.
Good video.  What is this flowplayer business?  Full screen watermarks ftl.
micromaniaon Sept. 8, 2010 at 1:49 a.m.
this video is making me lean more away from getting a new droid phone and upgrading my win mob 6 to 7
 : )
TheIneffableBobon Sept. 8, 2010 at 2:09 a.m.
Looks cool. Definitely like the smoothness of everything.
AlwaysBeClothingon Sept. 8, 2010 at 2:18 a.m.
Pretty slick looking, but I'm too far behind the times to give up my Batman phone.  I have to hold onto it till the 3rd movie comes out and its cool again.

Otherwise, I like to see casual Norm!  He's usually wearing glasses and business wear.
StormtrooprDaveon Sept. 8, 2010 at 2:27 a.m.
That looks cool - really slick and fluid.  One thing about an MS system though, will it be customisable or is it locked down?  Will there be alternative web browsers?
Ayulinon Sept. 8, 2010 at 3:17 a.m.
Erm, pretty sure the browser is a new version of IE Mobile and not WebKit-based :P

The interface looks impossibly fast and smooth; seriously looking forward to this coming out.

UI looks okay. It's such a shame that the hardware obviously couldn't cope with the OS, but obviously it's not final. The games also looked more in-depth than anything I've seen on similar mobile platforms, which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing.
Tartaruson Sept. 8, 2010 at 4:34 a.m.
That looks very good now I am a but more interested.
JJWeathermanon Sept. 8, 2010 at 4:43 a.m.
I loved the editing on this video.
Rehehellyon Sept. 8, 2010 at 5 a.m.
I'm not a fan of gaming on my mobile phone, well, games that require me to block the screen with my fingers :X
Landmineon Sept. 8, 2010 at 5:01 a.m.
I really want to see what HTC is going to do with this OS.
Chris2KLeeon Sept. 8, 2010 at 6:42 a.m.
Huh, looked better than I expected. Still have to see how this develops, and the battery dying twice has me concerned (NOT FINAL HARDWARE).
Fish_Face_McGeeon Sept. 8, 2010 at 8:28 a.m.
@Chris2KLee: Not only were they not final hardware they were hardware that were set up for mass abuse at a convention.
norman staff on Sept. 8, 2010 at 8:44 a.m.
@Ayulin:  ah, you're right on this one!
Meteoraon Sept. 8, 2010 at 9:06 a.m.
I noticed a few spots that needs working on Windows Phone 7, but I'm loving what I see so far Microsoft.
intoblivionon Sept. 8, 2010 at 9:31 a.m.
Looks pretty neat, but the hardware's gotta compliment it
AHRon Sept. 8, 2010 at 9:50 a.m.
I was pretty impressed with the interface - if I wasn't locked into my iphone 3G for the next two years (-_-,,)  I would consider this a strong candidate for purchase.  I think google should be more worried than Apple, though.
