The first Nokia Windows Phone available in the US isn't a high-end model, but don't dismiss it so soon.

I like Will's shirt.
@Rallier:
Rotated like that it is WAY more scarier, I mean you can look right up into his nose...
If this had the same camera/lens as the 800 does, It would be a pickup for me.
@Rallier:InfiniteWill
Somebody hasslehoff.gif this, TIA.
I want all the Nokias. ALL OF THEM!
Could you elaborate a little more on the physical Back/Home buttons Will? Are they responsive enough? From my limited experience I had with it at our german Best Buy-equivalent I'm somewhat worried.
The Nokia 710: YOU COULD DO WORSE
will needs to get into marketing
@Gorehorn: They're big, chunky physical buttons and are nowhere near as responsive as touch alternatives.
@Conmused: (edit: added some frames)
@Rallier: this is the best.

I regret nothing.
@will: Since i set it to my user profile background this is what i was greeted with when checking my mail.
@Rallier: Taskbar on the right? What sort of monster are you!
@Falcon: I actually took quite some time figuring out what would be the best for me and i ended up with that, a completely blank desktop and the few icons i needed embedded in the taskbar.
First off, it i find it better then on the right side because the scroll bar is on the right as well as the close and minimize buttons.
Then there is me who for some odd reason do not like to move the mouse over to the left side of the screen. That might be a right handed thing.
Most importantly having it on the right also prevents the tool bars in Photoshop (which you can move around freely) to change place when you which from normal full screen mode to its "super" full screen mode which removes the taskbar.
@Rallier: Huh, interesting... It's definitely not a right handed thing. I'm super OCD about moving my cursor over to the left side of the screen, especially when I'm reading something.
I hope Windows Phone does well so there is some competition. When I got my iPhone 4 it was that or an Android 1.6 phone and there was really no question what was the better phone.
