Awesome video guys.

@Tuffgong: C-Sections are a lot more common the older the mother is. Nicole was 39 when giving birth. Her age alone was reason enough to be a bit skittish about the birth and the health of the baby.
We went to a hospital rather than a birthing center because we wanted to be taken care of immediately should complications arise (as it did). As we joked during the pregnancy, "Let's go where the science is". In Nicole's case, her pelvis angle and spine position made it nearly impossible to give birth vaginally. When the baby's heartbeat dropped abnormally low and there was a rush of Doctors suddenly in the room I was obviously scared, but also so very thankful I was around those gifted Doctors and Nurses in an actual Hospital.
I of course hold no judgement on any person choosing natural birth methods, home births or birth centers and admire anyone who chooses to go that route, but given the same statistical analysis you employed (this time on Nicole's age) we knew it wasn't a smart option for us. I also in no way am trying to disprove any of your beliefs or theories which I'm sure you've researched. Mainly I'm just pointing out our personal story and why we made the choices we did. For what it's worth, we walked away from the ordeal paying a $350 co-pay for the entire pre-natal / delivery procedures. So I dunno, happy American with a healthy wife and baby here. No regrets.
Again. Not a Doctor! Just a Dad.
I think it is just a cultural thing duder. My wife is from New Zealand and she was weirded out when she found out we treat midwifery as some sort of hippy dippy thing. Doctors actually assign/recommend midwives (who are certified medical professionals) to expecting couples there, and the midwife does the pre-natal and post birth stuff checkup/immunization. I think a lot of the weird 80's/90's homeopathic BS labeled "midwifery" kind of ruined the legitimacy of midwives here. I think our higher percentage of C sections happen because our medical industry is broken, I definitely think there is a rush to get you in and out of the hospital so the hospital is operating at max efficiency Having said that I think more recently a ton of hospitals in the US are bucking that trend and are going back to being better with child birth.
Loved the podcast guys. Not a father my self yet ( me and my wife are only 24 and want to wait), but I am an uncle to a 14 month old niece. My sister is a single teen mom, so we all kind of have a hand raising her. I love her than more than anything else on this earth. I am terrible with the sleepy to bed transition. i just can't ever put her down gently enough to so the second I lay her down, she is right back up. I always pass her to my wife when it is time for bed.
Would there be any chance of getting @will @norman @loydcase and whomever to sit down and play some board games on camera? That would be awesome.
Space Cadets is definitely on my wishlist, seems like a more party friendly space alert.
Hey, great looking project will!

@will Yeah, they are pretty specific. I was hoping to find 3d models that could be printed, but thingiverse doesn't bring up anything. Maybe you could ask Lloyd for ideas next time you see him? If you take a look at this picture, I am missing the idol in the center, one of the bridge supports, and 3 player pieces:

Are you trying to get replica pieces, or just pieces to play with? I would just say getting a few meeples and buying a small wooden tiki off ebay would do the trick.

Here is part of an Aluminium Chess set. All pieces were hand cast in my home made foundry and machined by me:
These are incredible, interested in selling a set? :P
Man, so Many ridiculously talented people here.
I needed a new desk for work, so I built one. Ended up being more expensive than a desk at idea, but it is really solid and I built it.

Hello, I know I won't be getting a reply because I never get one but I'll try anyways haha.. I really really liked this video and I thought you guys are great, I managed to get all the components but I need a list of all the tools used during the assembly in the video because I never built a PC before so I never really have any tools and I'm wondering what to get. That'll be so great to get a reply, thanks!
Screwdriver - that's is really!
A camera sling shootout would be awesome. I feel neck straps look dopey and wrist straps are too constrictive.
Oh and no coffee cups here, damn!

I typically shoot in JPEG, and I always worry about losing quality by re-saving a picture that has been cropped, so I always try to frame and level each shot in the moment. I just don't understand how you guys have time for going through RAW pictures and doing post processing all the time. I have pictures from 6 months ago I haven't even had time to look at yet.
I always just force myself to sit down, sort and process them same day.
As a 24 year old guy who just bought his first house and putting together his first tool box, this was awesome!
Bought the elite version to support a duder. Will play it tonight and see what i think!
Great read @norman . I saw you mention someone Photo challenges that will be happening on tested, do you know when that will start?
You guys have done a bang up job this year. Honestly congrats!

I'm glad you guys liked the trains! :)
Dude, you made Norm-Solo and he shot first. The trains are super rad!
I am pretty glad Will went on about how much he loved The KingKiller Chronicle so much, I thought they were seen as Young Adultish and have kind of been a guilty please, maybe I won't be as embarrassed to recommend them to a friend.. I was absolutely absorbed in those books, i think I ended up finishing them in 3 days. Was such a refreshing thing to read after reading all of the available A song if Ice and fire books.
Some of the most interesting articles on Tested. I was actually trying to wait until they were all up on the site, but I caved last night and read them all. Amazing work, you're a ridiculously talented guy!
Man, Tested is killing it with content lately. Really happy to see Will and Norm's baby thriving!
google drive is like $5 a month for 100 gigs of storage, might be worth it for the one month.
