@will: Will! Of course you brine a deep-fried turkey! We tried it this thanksgiving for the first time, and followed Alton Brown's recipe from his Good Eats episode Fry Turkey Fry, and it was the most delicious turkey I've ever eaten! (My cousin and I fried a 2nd turkey to go alongside our grandmothers roasted turkey, and we totally showed her up- it was amazing!)
