I wonder if this affects Linksys routers that have been flashed with DD-WRT. Anyone know if it's still an issue with that setup?

I agree with @agemyth UbuntuOne is worth a look at for Android if you also use Ubuntu on a PC. The PC side syncs a big folder like Dropbox and also Individual selected folders like Sugarsync so you get access to all that in the Android app. It can be set to auto-upload any photos taken too so they are waiting on your Linux machine when you return home. @Irishdoom: I have to agree with your point, but it's no more distracting talking on the phone then it is talking to someone in the passenger seat, or trying to eat while driving, or changing the radio station, none of which is illegal. It's all too easy to target the cell phone and totally forget all the other things that cause accidents. In my state (Virginia, USA) it's already illegal ...

Better shut down the drive throughs, cuz eating while driving causes accidents too....and while we are on a rampage, no car stereos, no window buttons, and best get rid of toll booths so we don't have to fiddle with change....yeah....all that will make the roads safe. I doubt there would be a total ban...I'm sure some on Capitol Hill use cell phones...handsfree of course.

Just so you know...this is Picnik integrated into Google+...Picnik is owned by Google. You have been able to do this and more over at http://www.picnik.com and can link to your Picasa account (the back end of G+ pics). It's a decent set of online tools to do some basic editing. Hopefully no one goes overboard on the filters....it does get old if it's done for hipster value and not art.
