Hey guys, I just wanted to give you all an update about some recent developments with the site. Even though we don't have that stylish green "preview" ribbon on the top corner of the homepage (we had to move it when we added the search bar and updated the login module), we're still very much in a beta stage. So while we've been putting out regular editorial content -- news, how-tos, features, videos -- it's still a fraction of what we hope the site will be when we launch for realsies. But don't expect a drastic overhaul of the Tested you know and (hopefully) love; getting out of beta is more of an iterative process that will span the coming months than a one-time fancy ribbon-cutting unveiling. Actually, scratch that--we'll have the ribbon cutting anyway. Part of the equation is our staff of Top Men™ hard at work on a technology and product database, and the other part is putting more news on our front page that serve as anchors for community discussion. To that end, we've just recruited three news bloggers who were formerly readers--you may have seen their names pop up on a few posts already. Wesley Fenlon (WesleyFenlon), Sam Cook (Samcook) and Bobby Schweizer (Bobby) are joining our existing (and outstanding) team as daily bloggers who will cover technology news and product announcements. All three hail from Georgia, so I'm calling them Tested South. Please give them a warm welcome and post a comment or two on their posts!
