If Sprint doesn't hop on the fucking bandwagon sometime soon, I'm liable to drop the fuck out of my Arrive and move somewhere that plays ball.
@dmoncla: Xantar says no go. I understand he uses that hardware for other purposes as well, so there might be performance considerations here.
@WolfOfOne: He should be fine then for what he has now. Otherwise, I can put some time into a simple decent looking "portal to the legacy of the Official Tested Minecraft Server."
@dmoncla: hmod fell behind when Minecraft went to 1.4 or 1.5. The primary developers abandoned the project which led to it being taken up as "Canary." There was much talk of bukkit taking over hmod/Canary as the server-mod-of-choice but did not due to performance issues on slower hardware (or at least this is my understanding of that situation). I am not sure what the current issues are with both mods not being updated as the versions come out, but I predict there be one more Canary build before everyone including the devs abandon it for Bukkit.
Bukkit is not an option on our server.

@xantar: Could we get a restart? Server went down last night around 12 eastern.
@TheMasterDS: Yea, go ahead and remove some bushes. Just remember to make everything to scale.
@WolfOfOne: I took care of dmon. If you need a TP (which fixed dmoncla) I'll be on and off tomorrow.
@xantar: When you have some free time, could you render a new map? I'd like to see where we have explored already so I don't go off and expand the map a ton.
So I was thinking that we should go diagonal from here abouts and then straight into the forest. Catch, though, we shouldn't go lower than level 65 so its more of a passageway instead of a tunnel.
Edit: I'm doing it, but from the east side.
@coopdegra: I still think it looks stupid.
@coopdegra: Oh, yea, well I just tested it "on one half of one side." Tear it down anyway, I wouldn't have noticed it if I had been running smooth lighting anyway...
@coopdegra: @dmoncla: Tear it down.
@coopdegra: That contradicts. I dont know what you mean.
So, I saw this. And I thought what would it look like if each step in light was actually a step, so I tried it on one half of one side. If anyone doesn't like it, go ahead and tear it down and throw the bricks in the chest.
@captaindrek: Yea, keep getting a socket error.
Wanted to show Master this screenshot... http://i.imgur.com/vmQ41.jpg
@dmoncla: Are you getting that specific error?
@coopdegra: Actually, I doubt that's the issue since it was working before, but no harm in trying now.
