It still works just fine, but I figured I'd have to pay for another cooler when I built my i7 box. Two, the push pin mounting system is garbage. It's hard to get it in right, and even harder to tell for sure whether you got it in right. Humm. I have a brand new 15" MBP, and I guarantee it's not IPS. If so, it's got the worst off-angle view of any IPS panel I've ever seen.

@dexterslu: 133F is only around 56C. Not very hot for a laptop. In a cool room and not doing very much work, my MBP hovers around 40C. Under load, it ranges anywhere from 60C to 90C. Personally, I don't think the MBP's thermal design is very good, but the numbers above are (unfortunately) normal.

So, I just got a new 15" Macbook Pro... and holy sh*t does it get hot. Really hot. My old Thinkpad running at full bore never came anywhere close to this. I think Apple has some basic airflow design problems, but nothing I can do about that. Any suggestions from the forum?
