Ok if I were to go with a crossfire and my PSU ends up not cutting it..what is the worst that can happen? Would I just blue screen a lot? Would my PSU start smoking? haha I'm super new at this kinda stuff. Thanks for the help so far though!

So I built my first PC not to long ago and was thinking of adding another 6870 to my build. I've looked around and realized that my PSU (hec XPOWER780) is not that great. Would a crossfire work with this PSU and a 2500k cpu? Or do I need to upgrade the PSU to? Thanks

So let me get this straight: Intel currently has 3 streams of cpu's for the mainstream market: i3 i5 i7 which all run sandy bridge and socket LGA 1155..their last generation cpu's however were also core i3 i5 and i7 but not sandy bridge and not socket LGA 1155 it was LGA1156. Even though the number is higher it is worse...(makes sense right?) Then the new Ivy bridge CPU's will ...
