@Sooty said:That's just it, Apple have a pretty standardised smooth experience across everything. With Windows and Android your mileage will vary considerably, that's why so many ill-informed people assume if one Windows laptop is shit then PCs must suck, or if one Android phone is bad then the others must be too. The sad thing is Windows laptops actually do kind of suck, very few of them have good trackpads, ...

I'll probably still get the Nexus, regardless of what's out. I'm sure the GS3 will be better spec-wise, but I don't want to deal with Touchwiz again.

The old one is more than twice as powerful as my desktop. Two video cards that are better than mine, a CPU that chuckles at mine. More RAM, multiple harddrives, a Bluray drive, SSDs...I want it.

Why can't they make affordable monitors at that resolution? It seems so pointless to have that high of a resolution on such a small screen.

Kinda want to get Osmos, but I already have it on PC.Dungeon Raid sounds neat though.

I had this happen a ton for a while, but then it stopped... until a few days ago that is. Chrome crashed 3 times in two hours yesterday when I was watching GB videos and/or Youtube. This is both with Chrome for Mac and Windows. Sometimes I can close the tab but a few times I've had to force close and restart the entire thing for it to fix.

Home Depot doesn't sell desks or chairs, I used to work at one. They sell TV stands, shelves and lounge chairs in winter, but no office stuff.Ikea is the way to go. I looked absolutely everywhere before settling on ordering stuff from there online. My "desk" I got there isn't actually a desk, but instead is two 30"x60" tables put into a corner configuration. It costed me under $200 and ...

This sounds like every large retail/entertainment corporation in North America. They are starting to lag behind internet companies so instead of adapting, they try to brute force their way back into relevance.

I convinced my mom to get it on her iPad last week after Day9 showed it on his show. I've played 3 or so hours of it. It is a ton of fun. And it's only $0.99.

I don't care about specs, I just want a stock Android experience, and there's only 2 phones on the market today that offer that without modification;the newer Galaxy Nexus and the old Nexus S. I would happily get a "Nexus" phone, doesn't matter who makes it, just as long as it has stock Android and it will allow me to update. I'm sure there are tons of people who share ...

My next phone will be a Galaxy Nexus. No more of this upgrade mess like I have on my Galaxy S. Plus it's a nice phone. As soon as I have enough time I'm going to attempt to put ICS on my Galaxy S in the mean time though. It doesn't seem too hard.

I think they're just asking too much for the price point. They seem to want all top quality laptops with crazy specs but at that price point they have to make some kind of sacrifice. To be honest, I'd rather pay more for one and get a truly good machine than have one that barely meets the specs. I would much rather have a Series 9 than the Asus laptop, ...

Though the implementation you suggest may be kinda wonky, the idea is good. The issue with piracy when it comes to movies, music, games, etc. is one of service (or lack thereof), not most people being cheap. For games, I'm fairly confident Steam and similar services have turned many pirates into paying customers because it's easy to use and cheaper than buying in store (especially with sales). Likewise for music, ...

They're the same company who made a site/quiz thingy I had to use for a sociology class a year and a bit ago (It was another My*classhere*Lab). The quizzes we had to do on that site only worked on IE 6-8. No Firefox, Chrome, Safari (sorry Mac users. I had to use my Windows desktop to do the quizzes. It literally would not work on any browser on my Mac.), ...

I hope this works out. I would buy an iPad just for it, because it would save me a ton in the long run, since I will be doing grad school. I had to buy only 3 books this term and it cost me over $500 because they were all less common books and were required for class assignments. It was ridiculous. They weren't any cheaper online either and I ...

If that was $60-$80 I would probably get one if the sensor was good. It looks really light and compact, which is what I always am looking for. I hate big mice.
