Hey folks,
So, people seem to ask frequently enough who
myself and the other Tested writers are, a trend that's continued with the latest mailbag. While I usually like to shroud myself in a mystery and intrigue, I figure I'll pull back the curtain and do a little introduction. To start things off, I'm a freelance writer and journalist currently living in Toronto, Canada, working towards a journalism degree at
Ryerson University. I've written for
The Globe and Mail,
Ars Technica, local
blogs and websites, and now, Tested. It's all been a blast, and I couldn't be happier that I get to combine my two big loves — tech, and writing.
Other random facts. I'm a big
Radiohead fan, love reading
Neil Gaiman, and think
Transmetropolitan is one of the best graphic novel series' ever. I'm a sucker for
Pixar films and stylistic 3D (
Team Fortress 2, I'm looking at you), and I was very, very close to trying my hand at graphic design before all this writing stuff began. I've got a soft spot for astronomy, love aquariums, and will probably buy a canoe one of these days. Also, I like photography. And that's really about it.
So, Tested community. That's me. I'm a real person, not a robot. Ask me anything.
Update: Stupid me, forgetting to include this. I like gaming. I like emails. So feel free to hit me up in any of the following places...
