The Comic-Con 2010 Cosplay Gallery: 850 Amazing Costumes

There is no bigger or better cosplay gallery on the internet.

It's over, finally. Comic-Con 2010 has come to an end, and it did not disappoint. From Avengers assembling to faces being stabbed, this was easily the biggest and most spectacle-filled con in recent memory. The many booths, exclusive toys, panels, announcements, and marketing stunts did not disappoint. Neither did the cosplay.

While our pals at Comic Vine and Screened took care of the news coverage, I roamed the floor in my annual cosplay photo hunt. This year, I managed to snap up over 850 costume photos, ranging from your traditional Princess Leias and Supergirls to Iron Men and Green Lanterns (there were many of those).

But enough talk. Here is the only Comic-Con 2010 cosplay gallery you'll need... all on one page.

Good stuff, can never go wrong with booth babes. What kind've camera are you rockin, Norm?
norman staff on July 22, 2010 at 1:13 a.m.
@patrick: just a canon 30D with a 24-200mm lens. nothing special!

I officially call a moratorium on the Princess Leia slave costume. That scene is seriously played out at this point.

Did Norm dress up as an Engineer again this year?
FLStyleon July 22, 2010 at 3:44 a.m.
Beaverman? Oh wait no it's just a fat Batman.

Some great angles on the pictures, nice job Norm.
Sanjon July 22, 2010 at 3:51 a.m.

I notice you've taken more cosplay pics of ladies than dudes, Norm.

Nicely done sir.

Booth babes shouldn't be allowed in the convention unless they're cos-playing. Not advertising. They'll look a hell of a lot better.

that black panther figure looks pretty great... out of curiosity how much would one of those set you back?
Zaphon July 22, 2010 at 5:43 a.m.
Admittedly, I've never really 'got' cosplay, but even so -  there is nothing worse than a half-assed cosplay outfit.

On a different note - is that a Sulu fragrance? Awesome.
bagels staff on July 22, 2010 at 5:59 a.m.
@norman: Glad to see someone else is still rocking the 30D!

I saw that Sulu fragrance last night on Twitter and cracked up. The fencing shot and "Excelsior" are what make it. I just need a ripped-shirt Shatner version and I'm all set with the ladies.

I'm not a Bioshock fan but those two little sister figures look awesome.

Boobs.

Babes, toys and Star Trek, this place looks awesome. Nice Pics!

What is that forgive us picture at the end of?
norman staff on July 22, 2010 at 6:47 a.m.
@Tartarus: the walking dead tv show for AMC!
bcjohnnieon July 22, 2010 at 7:15 a.m.
@simian:  I tend to agree, but that second Slave Leia is HOT... she gets an exception to the moratorium.

Also, half-assed cosplay is never so disappointing as when people try to dress up as Batman.  Without 100% commitment, those guys just look like sad men in sad suits.

Love seeing someone finally cosplay Alvin from Alvin and the Chipmunks.
norman staff on July 22, 2010 at 7:16 a.m.
@bcjohnnie:  dude. that alvin guy is there EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

on my way out to take more photos!
bcjohnnieon July 22, 2010 at 7:26 a.m.
@norman:  Wow that's impressive, you'd think one of these years he would drag along a chipmunk or two with him, or at least get somebody to cosplay Jason Lee.
ProjektGillon July 22, 2010 at 7:42 a.m.
It's kind of scary how good that Jack Sparrow is. Also how awesome is that Abin Sur model. I wonder if it's being used in the Green Lantern Movie or just a random thing.

Amazing detail on the collectibles. I want to be at CC!
