They mention way too many articles and videos to not have some sort of link dump. If you don't know what I mean, take a look at how Rooster Teeth do their podcast. Every article and video they mention goes into a link dump, so that you can easily access it.
I doubt it would be that much work if they have a Google Doc with all their talking points on it beforehand. If they actually had to remember everything they discussed and find the links, then it would probably be simpler to just let the listeners find their own links.
I don't think going as far as linking to every person you have talked about is needed but links to the articles discussed would be nice. I'm not often at a comp when I listen to the podcast so having a brief summing of the links would be good.
Usually most of the stuff they discuss has been an article on the site within the past week. When it hasn't been an article they usually mention the source, pretty easy to track down.

With the way Gus complains about that is is a ton of extra work. I think google is sufficient personally.
