I was just hoping some of you could give some insight about the cases you use for your nexus 7. I am just looking for something that protects it well enough, doesn't add much bulk, and also isn't a pain to put the nexus in and out of. Thanks
How scratch-prone are they, really? I've been carrying around an iPhone all day every day for almost two years and haven't scratched it, so I figure a tablet which will spend most of its time in a protected pocket of my bag will be fine. I may end up regretting it, but I don't think I'll bother with a case.
It is not prone to scratches really. I have brought mine to work in my backpack for a few days and it looks brand new. I plan to get one mainly for extra protection while in my backpack.
I'm waiting to see what the official ones look like but I'm probably going to pickup a Dodo.
I looked at the Dodo. They essentially use glue to secure it to the case. Seems a bit chintzy to me.
That's the only thing preventing me from buying it as well. I wish they had gone the way the official cover went in term of the fit. I prefer the Dodo's stylings though.

Wow you guys aren't kidding. The case looks great, but there is no way I am using an adhesive to secure a device in a case.
I have a dodocase. The adhesive is VERY strong. So strong, when I pried the nexus 7 off the RMA it, the back cover nearly popped off.
