Hey guys, does anyone know what the case is that the guys approve of? I always tuned out when they talked about it but now that I'm buying a new iPad I can't remember! Any help would be much appreciated.
I went with the official Apple smart cover (polyurethane), but then decided I needed some scratch protection on the back and got a Belkin snap shield that is compatible with the cover. I like them both fairly well. The one potential bad thing is the shell adds enough thickness that you loose a bit of angle to the hinge, so it feels like it might fall over a bit more easily when using the smart cover as a stand. It hasn't happened to me yet, but maybe something to consider for going down that road.
Check out booqbags... little expensive, but they're high quality and do a great job. I have one for every device I use... except the iPad oddly enough. I just put a smart cover on that.
I like these, Invision iPad 3/4 case, come with a lot of different colours and feel really well made, they cover the back and front unlike Apple's overpriced smart cover. It's a fake leather but feels nice still. Most important, super, super thin. Dodo cases add way too much bulk and make the iPad a strictly two handed device. I used to barely use my iPad because of the case I had on it at one time, it was just too much added weight.
I don't have a case per se, but I do have a Rickshaw sleeve that I custom ordered. They are wonderful, great quality and not too expensive (less than a smart cover to get one if you use the $5 for subscribing to their email). I have one for my MacBook too now. They're wonderful cases.

Are you referring to the DODO Case?

also the incipio feather case works great with the smart cover as well
@HiImMikeCruz: I've ordered the Kavaj Berlin. It's difficult finding a good case that works as a stand as well.

Are you referring to a custom ipad cases from DoDo?

I bought my partner a Miniot case which she loves. Beautifully made covers (although not exactly cases), check them out here.

I use the logitech keyboard "smart" cover. I really enjoy having a keyboard for my iPad sometimes, and it is a very good stand.
