I'm looking for some free capture software to record my desktop/applications. I have used the trial version of Capture Wiz pro, but I can't justify spending $50 for a full version. Can anyone recommend some good (free) capture software?
I've used http://camstudio.org/ before and it worked okay for desktop and apps, but gaming is out of the question, at least in the earlier version i used.
EDIT: VirtualDub may also be capable of this, though I don't remember off hand.
@Forte: lol you forgot to add that he needs to do that at least 24 times in one second ;p Then import all those lovely bitmaps into Windows Movie Maker! jk def. don't do that as it would take forever, and then WMM would likely crash and you'd lose your video project lol.
