Hey, guys! I've been having troubles with my laptop for the past 30 minutes, and I haven't been able to find any solution for this online. Hopefully, you guys can help me out, so I don't have to email Asus support.
Anyway, I was browsing the internet when I lost my internet connection, and my mouse stopped working. Since my mouse was almost dead on batteries anyway, I checked every internet-capable device in the house, and every single one of them was fine. My router was fine as well. Then I went and pressed the Wireless button on my laptop in case I had hit it by accident.
Turns out that both my WiFi and Bluetooth were OFF, but no matter what I do, I can't turn them back on again.
Does anyone know what I can do about this? I'm running Windows 7 on an Asus N53SV
@MatPaget: It could be that the driver crashed. If you are using Windows Vista or 7, you can usually restart the driver through the Device Manager. Find your adapter on the list of devices, then disable it, then enable it again. This often will get devices working again after a driver crash. If it happens a lot, you should check if there is an updated driver available.
@CROM: I have tried disabling and enabling, and everything should be up to date. I talked to a guy at the local computer shop (NCIX), and he said I might have to reinstall Windows 7. I don't have any files left on the computer that I want to save, but it would be a pain to reinstall some of the files I have on my computer, so would this be a guaranteed fix?
@MatPaget: That's a typical quick and dirty (lazy) solution that a lot of computer stores will advocate. Try getting rid of your current drivers, and reinstalling or replacing them with the latest versions before doing anything else.
I have updated the driver for my Network Adapter, but nothing has changed. My Bluetooth was up-to-date. I did recognize that both were exactly the same (Atheros). Here are some pictures.

Avengers, assemble! (For the record, I'm completely out for ideas.)
What happens when you restart the laptop?

@CROM: How do I do that without internet?
Download from another PC and put on a flash drive.
Edit: Or you can hardline into your router also assuming LAN port still works also

So... my wireless switch was flipped off. There's the button, and also the physical switch. Damn. I feel like one of my parents.
Thanks for all the help, guys!
@MatPaget: Good to hear you got it sorted out. Aren't you glad you didn't reinstall Windows?
Is there a little switch like this on the side maybe? Also does the FN key work to turn the wireless back on?

Edit: Awesome. Just saw your post back - was doing some research and didn't refresh page to see you posted back. But awesome to hear!
