Does anyone have any suggestions for a graphics card that will fit inside an acer aspire ax3300, that is good, i am looking for something good because i want to get into pc gaming. If anyone could make recomendations i would be gratefull.
@hawkeexp: We could use a bit more info, mainly how much you are willing to spend, what the size of the case is, and what type of PSU you have. Other bits may need to be replaced before you can install a new GPU.
@hawkeexp: There's no PSU data on that list, but after a bit of digging I think you have a 220W PSU which is a shockingly low number, to be honest. Your GPU right now should be a 9200 (if you could look up that info in your PC to confirm it would help) which I believe is an integrated card and would help explain the ultra low power draw and the tiny PSU.
I'm really hesitant to reccomend you any GPU as it would either have to be super cheap to have such a small power draw (and therefore be so weak at to not be worth the cost), or you'd have to replace your PSU as well which means (in that tiny case) another thing you have to worry about fitting. Perhaps someone else has a better idea but I would suggest saving up for a new PC. Not sure if it was your choice to get that but you've really limited what you can do by getting such a tiny machine.
If you could grab a power meter and determine just how much juice your PC uses (to see what amount of that 220W we have to work with), I can tell you which of the above steps is your best bet.
@hawkeexp: there's now way that you can upgrade the GPU the problem is that your pc is a small form factor pc and the choice of cards are about nill for small form factor pc's. So if you want to get into pc gaming you have to build a new rig or buy one sorry for the bad news.
@Mirado: it looks about right for MicroATX, the only thing is I doubt it has a very good PSU, and some OEMs use nonstandard power connectors, or at least they used to. not sure if acer does, but if everything's standard, he could totally move it into a new case, although I think that the pics I saw on newegg made it look like in your average case the board would be backwards (my brain is barely working right now, I'm pretty tired), actually I think he could just flip the board and mount it in a normal case and it would work out, now that I took another look at the pics.
@nickb64: You are still right about the PSU which is 220W if what I saw is correct. Seeing as he's only looking to break into entry level gaming, I figure it would be better to get a PSU/GPU combo then a whole new system.

@hawkeexp: it should be fine as long as the connectors for your machine's parts are industry standard and not OEM customized. I think this has become less of an issue over the years, but it's always good to check.
I personally wouldn't choose that case based on aesthetics, but if you think it's good, I'd say go for it.
@hawkeexp: I know, from personal experience, that the Acer ax series computers will not work with a standard ATX power supply. They use a Mini-ITX power supply, and you'd be lucky to get into the 450 watt range that most new video cards call for.
I could be wrong, but you'll just have to take it apart and see what the power connectors are.
@hawkeexp: I have a Sapphire Radeon HD5570 low profile video card running in a dual core version of your system with out any problems. After searching the web only to get a bunch of "oh you need 400 watt and up" responses, I decided to go with my gut and went with the HD5570. While the ATI/AMD website does recommend 400 watts, this number is very subjective. While I am no expert when it comes to calculating wattage, most benchmark websites average the cards power consumption at 45W and this is under full load. I had the system since June 2011 and so far had no stability or heat issues (under room temperature conditions). I am able to play older titles such as COD and TF2 on max settings. The most gpu demanding game that I play is Battlefield Bad Company 2 and I can run that under medium settings.
