Hey Tested Community,
I've been on the hunt for a few weeks to find a case for my Google Pixel XL. I even went so far as to buy one of Google's own Live Cases - Chris Hadfield edition. The case has a solid construction, the photograph/imagery is great, and while the live-case button (which can activate an assorted array of phone functions) works about 50% of the time, it's a neat, if gimmicky, feature. But there is a much more significant challenge presented by the Live Case... It's about a sticky as a bar of soap covered in butter. It slips out of my hand at least once a day. So far so good, but one of these days I fear my Pixel will meet it's maker in the form of a sidewalk.
I'm thinking of forking over a bit more money than one normally would on a case and having something fabricated from scratch - some combination of metals, woods, rubber/silicone for grip. Anyone have an idea where to start? Or know anyone who already specializes in this kind of work?
