Now that I think about it, I'm curious. What's TouchWiz like on updated phones? I know they have "Natural UI" or whatever on the S III, but that's a hardware hog. I assume older phones didn't get it with their ICS update?
I wouldn't hold be breath. Will your phone get it? Maybe! Will it be any time soon? Probably not!
Unless you have a Google-sourced Nexus, I can wholeheartedly agree with this statement.
A general rule of thumb:
If your phone has received an OS version upgrade already, you're not getting another one. If your phone hasn't, is your phone more than 8 months old? If so, you won't receive one. If not, there's a good chance (though the prediction window for "when" is wide open).
Anyone know where I can go to find out when Ice Cream Sandwitch will be available for a certain phone on a certain carrier?
I went to the carrier site (ATT) and the phone site (Samsung Galaxy IIs) and they had nothing.
Is there a site with this info on it?
Keep your eye on engadget, and pray. You may think I'm joking, but I'm not.
@leelaroxi: I think it's already out. You'll need Samsung Kies to perform the update, if it is.
@MAGZine: The Skyrocket (LTE version) got ICS, but the original Galaxy S II hasn't yet.
@Falcon: Oh?
@Fish_Face_McGee: ...
I blame the fact that there are so many Android phones on me missing this. NOTHING TO SEE HERE, move along.
I am still waiting on Sprints release of ICS for my Galaxy SII.
But as long as they release it and it works with no bugs, I will be happy!

Why look at engadget? Do they have a listing of Android updates?
@leelaroxi: They usually post about Android updates.
Thanx, I am cruising it now.
